When I first saw the film The Man Who Wasn’t There, I had to wonder if director Robert Zemeckis really believed what he was trying to say. After all, I myself had seen a number of films where the lead character dies in the second half and was not mentioned again in the third act.
With The Man Who Wasn’t There the lead character never dies. However, there is an obvious reason why he is never mentioned again. This is because in this movie the title character was given an electric shock and killed on the spot. As the film unfolds we learn that he was actually a victim of a hit and run crime spree and his death is revealed when a police officer finds out the identity of his killer.
One of the things that struck me about The Man Who Wasn’t There was that I kept thinking that there were going to be some real twists and turns. What I thought that the main character would reveal was that the driver of the car that killed him actually was an accomplice. However, the twist wasn’t until the end of the film. I was actually surprised by this twist as I thought that this film would provide some real insight into the lives of its characters.
In addition to the twist, I found that this was a movie about forgiveness and redemption that was very uplifting it also seemed to be a movie about how life is not all about getting rich. I thought that this movie was a fantastic example of how the power of forgiveness can be very powerful and effective.
A major thing that I liked about this movie was the fact that it showed the effectiveness of the internet. I think that the reason why I liked it so much is that it showed how the power of the web can help bring people closer together and allow us to connect with others from all over the world. I also liked that it was a movie that was totally different and that it wasn’t about religion.
Overall, I believe that the whole experience of watching this movie was a positive one. I really enjoyed the concept of a thriller and I enjoyed the ending.
Well, that is all I have to say about the movie. I did find it to be a good movie. It certainly had my attention and interest and I definitely enjoyed it.
